Rappers like YG (and his “Stop Snitchin” track) have responded in kind, with disses aimed at Tekashi for divulging information. 6ix9ine even testified that Cardi B and rapper Jim Jones were members of the Bloods. During his highly publicized trial, the rapper provided law enforcement with a wealth of information on his fellow Nine Trey Bloods members ultimately leading to the guilty verdicts of multiple former associates. Where the self-proclaimed King of New York goes from here is unknown as he’s in completely uncharted territory. The release also comes after his reported $10 million USD record deal with 10k Projects, which he signed while awaiting sentencing on racketeering and firearms charges back in October. He decries those who are always clout-chasing and then establishes, “B*tch I am clout.” And of course, he follows that up with the rhetorical, “Are you dumb, stupid, or dumb, huh?”
The video was shot in his own back yard after a judge granted him special permission to do so. He’s drenched in rainbow colors, disregarding social distancing orders to be surrounded by at least six video vixens, and there’s even a Dalmatian puppy thrown in there for good measure. The track and accompanying visual all have the hallmark traits that made 6ix9ine such a polarizing figure.
